Ingredients (Serves 1)
- 100g chicken mince
- 1 spring onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon tomato sauce
- Pinch of pepper
- 1 small wholemeal or multigrain bread roll
- 1 lettuce leaf
- 2 slices tomato
- 2 slices cucumber
- 1 slice cheese
- Mashed avocado, hommus or tzatziki
Instructions
- Combine the mince, spring onion, parsley, tomato sauce and pepper together, and shape into a burger.
- Brush a frying pan with oil and heat.
- Cook the chicken burger on medium heat. Turn over when brown on the base (turn once only). When it is cooked, remove it from the pan.
- Preheat the grill and lightly toast the two bun halves.
- Spread the toasted bun with your selected spread.
- Place lettuce, chicken burger, tomato, cucumber, and cheese on the bun and serve.
